Account Executive - Nationwide

 

It is an exciting time to join CISYNC, the leader in Public Safety Analytics

 

Account Executive – 100% Remote Position

 

Territory –Nationwide

 

**A current or recently retired law enforcement experience is a plus**

Compensation: $300/month, with 8% commission per sale; sales are expected to be over $30,000 per

contract, depending on department sizes

 

Responsibilities:

 Reach out to as many police departments within the territory (with 50+ officers) to introduce our product (cold calls, email, and other avenues)

 Be comfortable with presentations and demos of the product via video chat or in-person

 Identifying and pursuing new qualified sales leads.

 Helping our customers fall in love with our products and services.

 Following up to make sure our customers stay happy—and to see how else we can help.

 Forecasting sales and tracking progress.

 Ensuring customers are trained on purchased products.

 Manage and close deals through the contracting stage

 Participate in the negotiation of new and renewed sales contracts

 Keep in contact with current relationships to renew contracts

 Bring ideas to the table to help us better the company and its sales process

 Attend a one-hour team meeting weekly

 

Requirements and Preferences:

 Bachelor’s and above degree or law enforcement experience 3-5 years.

 4-5 years of experience sales, a plus

 Strong customer service focus and customer relations skills

 100% remote position

 Must be able to interpret law enforcement data

 Excellent presentation skills with the ability to adjust your message to suit the audience.

 Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced technology start-up environment is a plus

 

Knowledge and Skills Required/Preferred:

 Excellent written and strong communication skills

 Superb interpersonal skills

 Deep functional acumen

 Strong planning skills, ability to effectively manage priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced startup environment

 Knowledge in the law enforcement analytics, a plus

 

Behavioral Competencies:

 Multi-tasking various clients and issues simultaneously.

 Good at picking their battles, however, does not shy from saving their bosses from themselves

 Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

 Positive, upbeat, and solution-oriented

 Experience working in growing and messy startup environments with a proven ability to effectively

manage a robust sales pipeline, simultaneously with stringent time lines

 

Other things to know:

- We are willing to negotiate for the right candidate.

- We do not expect you to be a "guru" of sales; all levels are welcome to apply

- We expect you to demonstrate organizational skills

- We expect top-notch professionalism, being on time for meetings, kindness, and getting to know our potential customers and their needs

- We do not expect more than 10 hours per week, as we hope this to be a side gig until we begin closing contracts
